Over 550 homes are found in Ocean Beach: for day trippers, Fire Island rentals, and year round residents. Fire Island rentals are very popular, but with no automobiles on the island, the residents and rentals utilize the radio flyer red wagons to transport their goods from the Fire Island ferry to their home or rental.

This painting is of the dock at Ocean Beach New York. I had done art shows there for several years, and the radio flyer red wagons at Ocean Beach just seemed to remind me of a perfect weekly rental, excellent restaurants, and enjoyable painting.

The painting of the red wagons is symbolic of the care free summer days one can easily spend at Ocean Beach, or any FL beach community for that matter. The hours at the ocean’s edge are quiet, and the evening hours at the bars and discos are very lively. I hope you will be able to get a weekly rental here, and enjoy Ocean Beach New York.
